Welcome to our classroom!  

This is my 31st year of teaching and I still love it!  I've taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades at Perkins, Dena Boer, and SES.  I enjoy my family, hiking in the mountains, being outside in my garden, exercising, singing, and reading.  I'm looking forward to a great year! 

In 4th grade, we will learn about the great state of California including its regions, people, and economics.  In Science, we will explore Plants and Animals, Energy, and Geology.  Students will be reading rigorous texts, writing powerful texts and using technology to communicate, collaborate, create, and think critically.  This is going to be a great year!

I expect everyone to be at school, on time, and ready to learn!
